Sodium formate method to produce insurance powder, air separation to produce oxygen, pure oxygen to burn sulfur dioxide, incineration of sulfur dioxide exhaust gas to dilute alkali spray absorption after emission. Sodium metabisulfite reacts with water to produce sodium bisulfite, and then sodium formate, sodium bisulfite and sulfur dioxide react in methanol aqueous medium to produce sodium dithionite, which is washed with alcohol, filtered, dried and packaged to obtain the final product. In the production process of insurance powder, the reaction medium methanol is recycled by distillation, and acid gas and alkaline gas are produced in the reaction process, which are discharged after multi-stage absorption. Sodium formate and sodium thiosulfate are extracted from methanol distillation residue and discharged into the sewage system.
